This is a list of frequently asked questions that may give you the answer to some of the questions you've been longing to ask.

General

  • How do I pronounce BLCK Flavour?

BLCK is the shortened term for BLACK so it's actually called Black Flavour

  • How many different flavours do you have in stock?

We currently have over 1500 different multi purpose flavours in stock, across 27 different brands

  • What bottles do the concentrates come in?

Our 10ml, 30ml and 50ml concentrates are packaged in PET bottles with a childproof cap.

  • Are your products good quality?

Our products are sourced directly from the manufacturers in USA, Italy, Poland and the UK. Our products are bottled in an sterile environment (ISO-7 Lab) so you can be assured you getting the same product as intended by the manufacturer.

  • Why do your concentrates have your own bottle and not the manufacturers bottle?

In order to keep costs down for the end user, we buy products in bulk and have them repackaged locally as it is too costly to import the original 15ml manufacturer bottle. However our 473ml size bottles are sold in the original manufacturer bottle.

  • What about your PG and VG?

Our VG and PG is sourced locally and both products conform to the international standard (USP/ BP Grade).

  • What is the expiry date on my product?

When it comes to the shelf-life of your liquid bases such as VG, PG, Nicotine and Flavour Concentrates, the length of time these products can be used is 12 months from date of purchase.

We get an 18 – 24-month shelf life from the manufacturer, therefore we advise 12 months from Date of purchase (as we rotate stock many times within this period).

The shelf life will depend on the correct storage conditions of the products mentioned above as the aromas in concentrates start to evaporate once the bottle is opened. Additives such as sweeteners and Nic start degrading once air is introduced into the bottle.

Recommended storage for PG, VG & Flavour Concentrates would be a cool, dark place that is out of direct sunlight.
Additives and Nic can also be stored in the Fridge (to pro-long the shelf-life).
Please also ensure all bottles are sealed when stored to prevent degradation.

  • Where do you store the products before I purchase it?

Our products are store in a sealed warehouse at room temperature with no sunlight so you can be assured it hasn't degraded in any way before reaching you.

  •  What if a product is out of stock?

We replenish stock on a daily basis, if there is an item which is out of stock, please send us an email or reach out to us via the chat available on our website and we will provide you with an ETA.

  • What do i need to start mixing in terms of equipment?  

We have built convenient Starter Kits that are readily available and contain all the equipment used in the series above ensuring you receive all the tools you would need. They can be found via this link: Starter Kits

  • Other than equipment, what else would i need to create my own flavours?

In terms of Flavour, You would need flavour concentrates. We have created convenient Recipe Bundles available for you to start of with some tried and tested recipes. We update these weekly as well. They can be found via this link - Recipe Bundles

  • What is the difference between Concentrated Blends and Flavour Concentrates?

Flavour Concentrate – is a single flavour used to in combination with each other to create a recipe

Concentrated Blends – is basically a Recipe in a Bottle, a pre-combined selection of different concentrates making up a recipe.

With concentrates, you would need to develop Recipe to your liking or you could try out our tried & tested recipe bundles
With Concentrated Blends, you could choose any Concentrated Blends from our range that suits your tastes.

Concentrates need to be added in at different percentages to achieve a finished flavour. While Concentrated Blends will be mixed at their recommended percentages detailed in the description of the product or on the bottle.

With Concentrated Blends, ease of use is your biggest advantage while concentrates offer more personalization.

  • How long does delivery take?

Once an order is paid for, we package & hand it over to the courier company as quickly as possible. Orders placed before 01:00 pm will be shipped out from our warehouse on the same day and takes 1- 3 days for delivery to your door. We use "The Courier Guy" for deliveries and although we aim for overnight delivery, we cannot guarantee this.

  • What are your retail trading hours?

Our Trading hours are as follows:
Weekdays 09:00 - 17:30
(Closed Friday 12:00 - 14:00)
Saturday - 09:00 - 14:00
Sunday - Closed

  • Can I purchase on a Wholesale Level?

At BLCK we specialize in Flavour Components and additives on a wholesale level specifically. If you're looking to purchase Liquid Bases such as VG, PG additives, or Flavour Concentrates, Bottles, or Lab Equipment on a wholesale level you can send through the Items you require in the quantities you would like via Email to hello@blckflavour.co.za

  • How to place an order?
  1. Select the goods you require from the Website and click 'Add to Cart.'
  2. Choose the quantity of goods you wish to purchase from BLCK Flavour (the default will be one (1) unit). Please note that a limit is set to ninety-nine (99) units per item. To order quantities greater than 99 units per item, please contact customer services who will be able to assist you with your order.
  3. Review your cart and make sure all specifications such as colour or make fit your requirements, then click "Checkout."
  4. If you are a new user, you will need to enter an email address and create a username and password. You must keep your username and password confidential as they allow access to your account. To continue setting up an account you will need to enter your personal details, billing address (which must correspond with your payment card address) and delivery address.
  5. Once you have set up an account, you will be directed to the shipping confirmation and delivery options page where you may enter voucher codes, select the type of delivery, and vary delivery and/or billing addresses.
  6. You will then proceed to the secure payment page where you may select the payment type and complete your order. Your payment will be collected from you by BLCK Flavour. Following submission of your order you will be sent an automated order acknowledgement to the email address provided.

By placing an order through the Website, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, over the age of 18 and have read our terms and conditions.
